Student subclass 500
This temporary resident visa is granted for up to 5 years and enables you to be enrolled in a course of study in Australia. This visa permits you to work for 40 hours per fortnight unless you are studying a Masters (Research) or PhD in which case you are permitted to work full time. Family unit members can apply in a combined application with you.

Temporary Graduate subclass 485
There are 2 streams:

This stream is appropriate for students who have recently graduated with a qualification of at least the level of a bachelor’s degree. It enables you to work and live in Australia temporarily for a period of between 2 to 4 years. Hong Kong passport holders can stay for 5 years.

Parent visa
This is a permanent residence visa. There are several options for parent visas. Depending on the visa selected you can be either inside or outside of Australia at the time of decision. You must have a child who is a settled Australian citizen, permanent resident or eligible New Zealand citizen. There is an option for you to apply under the retirement pathway if you are eligible.
You must meet the balance of family test and have an assurance of support.
